From Sherri J. Hutchens about her Mama, Marie Jessup:

I wanted to update everybody on my mom. She is coming home August 9. She is so excited! She has been through a lot in the last four months. My mom told me she feels the best she has in a long time. Marie, Mama has been a real trooper and I wanted to thank everyone that has called and visited her. She has gotten over 200 cards and has all of them on her door at the nursing home (universal care in King).

She will be getting her picture taken on Monday, August 7 and the picture will be in the Winston-Salem journal. They told her she was an inspiration to the people at the nursing home because they never wanted to go outside till my mom came. Now they have a group going outside every day. I can’t wait till she can sit on her front porch and watch the birds. I have worked on getting her house ready. I’m not quite finished with the bed room.

I want to send a big thank you out to my sweet neighbor, Peggy Jessup. I couldn’t have done any of this without her. Peggy has really helped me more than she will ever know. One Saturday morning she saw my car at my moms and here she comes. Bless her heart, Peggy started working! We ended up working about 8 hours. We are so blessed to have her in our lives. I have made Mama a banner to go up on the porch. Welcome Home! Please continue to pray for my mom.
