TCB! Taking Care of Business or Tina Collins Birthday! Tina’s Birthday with Elvis (Stephen Freeman) was the most fun I have had in ages. Stephen Freeman sang, moved, dressed and spoke just like Elvis for an hour. He gave out scarves and teddy bears to Tina and her guest. He made everyone feel special! What an awesome gift to have “Elvis” entertain you for an hour. I believe you are loved, Tina. The birthdaycelebration for Tina Collins was held Saturday, June 3 at Collinstown Community Center. Happy happy birthday, Tina!

Brad Jessup turned the Big 50 on May 31! Brad said he was just 5 perfect 10s.

Happy birthday to you, Brad! LaWanda and Wayne wish you all the happiness in the world.

The Rock House Ruritan Club had a dinner for the high school seniors. Five graduates attended and received a Bible from the Ruritan Club. Two scholarships were given to deserving young people. Abigail Venable received the National Ruritan Scholarship and Andrew Hurd was the recipient of the Juanita Gordy Scholarship.

Update on my hip replacement. I was glued together and the nurse didn’t have to take any stitches out. No more white elastic hose! I can take a real shower. I know everyone is glad of that. I have great friends coming by helping out all the time. Suzie Vincent came by with books, Trenna Perry came with two bags of fruit and Kathy George came with supper one night. Kindness is good!
