The third grade class at Shoals Elementary School recently took a field trip to the Morehead Planetarium and Science Center in Chapel Hill.

While there the students saw a presentation of ScienceLIVE Magnificent Matter, they got to attend a classroom on solar systematics where they were able to design their own Mars Rover. Last they went into the planetarium for a presentation on the solar system.
