After an invocation by Pastor Tom Hunter, the First United Methodist Church choir, under the direction of Martha Smith, led off the evening with its rendition of “A Simple Alleluia.”


A live nativity scene drew the attention of attendees and passers-by both before and after the musical presentation.


PILOT MOUNTAIN — Choirs from First United Methodist Church and First Presbyterian Church came together at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Golf Course Road as the three choirs joined in a third annual community Christmas celebration entitled, “Come Let Us Adore Him.” The musical evening also featured a live nativity scene, a collection of nativity displays, activities for children and refreshments for all.
