WESTFIELD — An overflow crowd turned out at the Westfield Ruritan Community Building Saturday evening for the second annual Families In Need Barbecue Supper and Gun Giveaway.

“This was our best ever,” noted group representative Grant Tilley. “We had a great crowd and a lot of community support. The music was good and everything turned out really well.”

According to TIlley, the group’s purpose is to help those with need in the community and surrounding areas. A target of Saturday’s fundraiser was to provide for local children and families at Christmas.
