Three Shoals Elementary Schools students did well during the recent county-wide science fair.

Eli Hutchens, a third grader, received second place, and fifth graders Joanna Parker and Sara Tilley received third place. They will continue on to compete in the regional science fair on Feb. 17 at Triad Math and Science Academy in Greensboro.
