Dear Friends, You are cordially invited to Homecoming at Westfield Friends Meeting on October 11. Service starts at 11 a.m. The theme this year is “Use Your Talents for the Lord.” There will be a video presentation featuring many from our congregation serving God with their talents. Our Pastor, Linda Anderson, will bring the message. Radford and Sue Hiatt’s daughters, Sandy Railey, Pam Cody and Gina Brown will share their beautiful voices in song. Lunch will follow the service. Bazaar at Westfield Friends Meeting is October 17 from 7 a.m. to noon. Mary Nunn cooks a mouth watering biscuit! There will be breakfast, crafts, produce, baked goods, yard-sale items, cookbooks and a Quilt Raffle. Y’all come!
Surry Quaker Men will be having an auction and chicken stew on Saturday, October 24 at 4 p.m. This will be at Pine Hill Friends Meeting fellowship hall on 3968 NC Highway 268 in Ararat, NC. All proceeds will benefit backpack food program within Surry County schools.

Homecoming at Brown Mountain Baptist Church October 18.
Homecoming at Brims Grove Baptist Church will be October 11th. Dallas Prestwood, an intern pastor at Brims Grove in the late 70’s, will deliver the sermon. All are welcome.
Brown Mountain Baptist Church is doing a Samaritan’s Purse Collection thur November. Somethings they need are pens, pencils, crayons, combs, toothbrushes, small toys, soap and stickers. Give these items to members of the church to be donated.
Hacker House is now open every Fri and Sat night in October at 8 p.m. This will be From October 2 to 31.

William Younger Fulk, 69, passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2015 after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born January 19, 1946 in Stokes County to Royce William and Dorothy Lee Southern Fulk.
