SILOAM — We had several visitors at the Baptist Church on Sunday morning.

Bonnie Poindexter is home from the hospital and getting lots of TLC!

Jake Whitaker is having so much fun walking with crutches since his knee surgery. Well, that is my opinion, not his!

Crystal had her arm cast removed and will soon get rid of the elastic bandage. All these ladies with broken arms will soon put them back to work.

Please remember Earnest Key in your prayers. He is one of the finest men I think I’ve ever met. Such a friendly and caring person. We still remember his visit to Papa Bob in ‘06 after his stint in the hospital. May God’s blessing be yours, Earnest.

Geneva Mabe is back home after a visit to the hospital. She had some surgery. Best wishes to Geneva.

The Sunny Seniors will visit The Triad Farmers Market, just off I-40 on Friday. We will view all the sites and enjoy lunch!

Our community was saddened by the death of Mr. Glenn Scott on Wednesday. He is survived by one son, Terry and his family.

Great granddaughter Elizabeth (Eli) is in Kindergarten this year and loves going to school. She lives in Cabarrus County.
