SILOAM — The annual Smith Reunion was held on Sunday in the Fellowship Hall at Siloam Baptist Church. The people in attendance are descendants of James and Elizabeth Smith. The crowd was small, because several families were traveling. We had some delicious food, and lots of good fellowship.

Billy Smith put flags on the graves of all the soldiers buried in the Baptist Church cemetery. Thanks Billy.

The Baptist Men’s Golf tournament was delayed because of the threat of bad weather. It will be held on June 11 at Beaver Creek.

Josh Snow is much better. He lives in Tennessee, and had been in the hospital. He is back at work now.

The seven mile yard sale will be held in the Siloam area on June 4.

Our church is also collecting food for The Food Pantry and The Children’s Center.

On Saturday. our area between Level Cross and Siloam, had the worst rain storm I’ve ever seen. It lasted almost an hour and the raindrops were BIG! I had seen big snowflakes and big hail balls, but never big raindrops. They were beating on the sun porch windows so hard that I was looking for glass breakage, but the windows survived. It was a long hour.

I’ve had some beautiful iris blooms, but they are winding down now. Daisies will be next.

We have really been enjoying the strawberries from the Bullington Farm. I made lots of jam and froze many berries. Will need one more batch.
