WESTFIELD — Don Moss has 59,000 Volunteer Hours at Baptist Hospital. Don was recognized at the Wake Forest Baptist Health Volunteer Awards Luncheon April 13.

Sunday, April 17, Jerry and Lisa Chilton, along with nephew Levi Jessup, attended the Winston-Salem Symphony at Reynolds Auditorium. The concert consisted of the Symphony and Chorale presenting Star Wars; composed by John Williams. There was audience interaction with several Star Wars character. The concert was most enjoyed by all! After the concert, the trio had dinner at the Village Tavern in Reynolda Village. A great way to spent Sunday afternoon!

The Not Brothers Band will be performing Saturday, May 7 from 8 to 11 pm at the Green Heron Alehouse in Danbury. Tickets available at 1110 Flinchum Road, Danbury.

Raise Your Glasses to Jeremy Cook! He turned 40 years old this week! Jeremy’s wife, Kisha and his mother, Nancy surprised him with a get together of family and friends Saturday, April 23. An Awesome Party and A Great Time had by all.

Barbara Cave and I went to “Ladies Night Out” in Downtown Pilot Mountain. It was a really great time. Free food, Free entertainment and a Free tote bag with goodies! We walked into 23 different businesses and talked with lots of friendly folks. I would highly recommend you go to the next “Ladies Night Out” in June. June 23 should be put on your calendar. You could win a prize.

Calling all vendors to come and support the Francisco Presbyterian Women by “renting” a tent to sell your product. Each tent is $10. The event will be held on May 14 from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. What a great way to promote your business/product and support our women’s ministry. Anyone interested in renting a tent should contact Kim Holland at 336-406-1559.

We will also be serving breakfast that morning too. The cost will be donation only. Please come out for some good food, fellowship and to check out what the vendors have to offer!

Mrs. Colleen Shelton Collins, 84, of Francisco, widow of Thomas Glenn Collins, passed away Tuesday, April 19 at Pioneer Community Hospital in Stuart, Virginia. Born October 17, 1931, Colleen was the daughter of the late Sanders Shelton and Mary Addie Hill Shelton. She was a life-long resident of the Francisco Community. She graduated from Appalachian State Teachers College in 1952 and began a 36-year career as an elementary school teacher in Patrick County, Virginia and Stokes County, North Carolina.
