The following incident/investigation reports were filed by the Pilot Mountain Police Department:
— A two-car collision was reported on Jan. 24 at 106 South Key Street. Juan Manuel Mendieta Cordova, of King, was listed as the driver of the vehicle that collided with a parked car owned by Jessica Christen Allshous, of Pilot Mountain. The total estimated damage is $800.
— A two-car collision was reported on Jan. 26 at 322 North Key Street. Andrea Elizabeth Mcgee, of Pilot Mountain, and Shirley Hickman Livingston, of Pilot Mountain, are listed as the drivers. The total estimated damage to both vehicles involved is $900.
— Sarah Elizabeth Shew was arrested on Jan. 26 after a report of larceny shoplifting was filed at 650 South Key Street. The incident reported listed Dollar General as the victim, which noted Shew allegedly took $34.25 dollars worth of personal hygiene items without paying.
— A report of larceny was filed on Jan. 26 on Old Westfield Road. Rodney Dean Cox is listed as the victim on the report, which noted several building materials were taking from the property without permission, to include a 16-foot aluminum ladder, a corded drill, a drop cord, a box of screws and a dog house.
— An arrest was made at 703 East 52 Bypass after Officer E., J. Harrell discovered a man sleeping in a vehicle behind a convenience store.
Eliot Nicholas Watkins, of Whiteville, was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle, larceny of a motor vehicle and break and entering. Warrants for Watkins arrest were issued in Columbus County on Jan. 30.
The warrants stated Watkins unlawfully stole Ronald Hennick’s white Chevrolet work truck containing $1,000 dollars worth of personal property and breaking and entering with the intent to commit a felony.
