PILOT MOUNTAIN — Saturday dawned into a rainy overcast, but this didn’t stop the East Surry JROTC Raiders from using their endurance, teamwork, and knowledge at the North Iredell Raider meet. The Raiders made their trek to Olin, NC to take part in the Raider Meet. At the end of the day, the team returned home as champions.

East Surry High School is represented by 3 teams. A, B, and C team. Only to compete in this meet was the A-Team. The A-Team won 1st or 2nd in each event, which consist of the Physical Fitness Test, 5K, Rope Bridge, Liter Carry, and Humvee Pull. Although B and C team did not compete in the meet they cheered and supported the team no matter the outcome and to have a good time. At the end, this is all that matters to the East Surry JROTC Raiders.
