The hunt for number values

Teachers at Copeland Elementary School recently figured out a somewhat unconventional way to have students learn about place value and the value of numbers.

They held a scavenger hunt.

Students were given clues about where certain numbers were placed on the place value chart and had to find them to build numbers, having fun while learning a needed lifelong skill.
