Happy 57th wedding anniversary to Junior and Sarah Mitchell Rogers of Collinstown. They were married on April 2, 1960.

PaPa Wayne and MeMa LaWanda Jessup want to wish their grandson, Levi Jessup, a very happy 19th birthday this past March 26. They love you much!

This statement came from Ruth Robertson, Mary Romine, Nancy Speaks and Marshall Gordy. Everyone who knew our Mama, Juanita Gordy, knew how much she loved Nancy Reynolds School. The first graduate from Nancy Reynolds was her Aunt Sally Needham. Four generations of our family have attended Nancy Reynolds. Mama sold Christmas ornaments and helped in other fundraisers at the school. She played basketball there. Tonight the Rock House Ruritan Club voted to name our 2 scholarships after her. The Juanita Gordy Nancy Reynolds Scholarships! Mama would be so happy!

There will be a benefit for Tim and Dee Cooke on Saturday, April 8 at Holly Springs Ruritan Building from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Special prayers for Ed Lupo, who had knee surgery.

Also prayers for Marie Jessup, Hickman Simmons and Gayland Adams.

Sympathy goes to Lynn Gooch and Sam Rule, Armida’s children and Jeff, her husband.

Armida Hall Rule, 63, of Pilot Mountain, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday night, March 29, 2017.

Sympathy goes to Kaylene Shelton, Timmy Jefferson and wife, Teresa and the Gray family.

Mr. Gary Wayne Gray, age 73 of Westfield, North Carolina, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Blue Ridge Therapy Connection in Stuart.

Sympathy goes to his wife, Vickie, and the Sheppard family.

Sherman Harold Sheppard, age 64, of Pinnacle, passed away on March 27, 2017 at his home.

He was born on January 23, 1953 in Forsyth County to the late William Thomas Sheppard and Inez Chilton Sheppard.

Sympathy goes to the Bennett family.

Jack Arnold Bennett, 84, passed away on March 29, 2017 at his home. He was born on April 12, 1932 in Stokes County, to the late Charles Edward Bennett and Ethel Stanley Bennett. Mr. Bennett is survived by a son, Joseph (Sandra) Bennet

Heather Leanne Wilkins Frye, 36, of Mount Airy, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, March 24, 2017.

The Rock House Ruritan Club will be having the Vendor Sale April 8 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Families in Need Cruise-in and BBQ Saturday, April 29 from 11:00am till 5:00pm in Westfield.

The Westfield Ruritan Club will have hot dogs and cash bingo games April 8. Y’all come on over and eat at 6 p.m. The cash Bingo games start at 7 p.m. and go till 9pm. There will be door prizes! This is at the Westfield Community Building across from the Westfield Post Office on Highway 89 – 6631 Westfield Road.

Choral Easter Cantata at Westfield Baptist Church April 9 at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Westfield Baptist Church will have Sunrise Service and breakfast Sunday, April 16 at 7 a. m.

Tenebrae Service at 7 p.m. on April 14. The Brown Mountain Church family would like for you to attend. Eddie Carter, the Pastor, will hold the Service.

Brown Mountain Baptist Church will have Sunrise Service followed by breakfast Sunday, April 16 at 7 a.m. Sunday School and Worship Service at normal time.

True Way Baptist Church is having Revival April 2nd through the 5th and Sunrise Service April 16 at 7 a.m. We serve Breakfast after sunrise service.

Trinity Baptist Church in Westfield will have Easter Sunrise Service at 7am, followed by breakfast, and 9 a.m Service, with Brent Rochester preaching and singing. That will kick off our revival services starting the following Mon -Wed. The 17th-19th.

Westfield Friends Meeting will have their Easter Sunrise service April 16th at 7 AM with breakfast to follow in the fellowship hall. There will be no 11 AM service that day.
