Merry Christmas!

Rock House Ruritan Club will not have a turkey shoot on Dec 24, which is Christmas Eve.

Ther ewill be a Hanging Rock State Park Polar Plunge on New Years Day, however, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the lake. A costume parade will start at 4 p.m. and the plunge begins at 4:15 p.m. Registration is $25 in advance and $35 on the day of event.

There will be prizes, including a commemorative event hot/cold tumbler for the fiirst 100 registered, as well as unlimited food and beverages for participants. First, second, and third place prizes for best youth, adult and costume. DJ Tory Mabe will provide the music.

There will be a Christmas Day worship service at Westfield Baptist Church at 10 a.m. All other services are canceled. The service will conclude by 11 a.m.

Woodville Baptist Church will hold the 11 oclock service Sunday, Dec. 25, but no Sunday school.

The grill in Westfield is rumored to open again, to be called Amy Joe’s Grill, but there no date on the opening.

Ruth and Matt Fuller were to head head home to Westfield for Christmas on Tuesday, Dec. 20. They can’t wait to see everyone and get out of the cold and snow. They live in Union City, Michigan.

Wayne Jessup’s birthday is Dece. 26. Lawanda wants to wish him happy birthday and a very happy day! Lisa and Brad say happy birthday too.

Ruth Robertson says happy birthday to her husband, Gary! Many more happy days to you!

Happy anniversary to Jimmy and Elsie Cartwright. Becky and Kim Burwell, Donna and Tim Collins, Wilbur and Sue Marion, Vickie and Billy Ray Bullins, Leonard and Stephanie Young, Bonnie and James Paul Jessup and Beverly and Ronnie Bennett.

Brother Darrell Price had a birthday Sunday, Dec. 18. Members of Tru-Way Baptist Church want to wish Brother darrell a very happy birthday.
