The Westfield Elementary Pto will sponsor its first annual fall and winter Holiday Bazaar on Saturday from 9 a.m.–3 p.m. at the school gymnasium, located at 273 Jessup Grove Church Road..

“This will be our first,” noted PTO Vice President Kim Morris, “and we’re hoping to see it continue. We feel like we’re doing this at a great time of year, with people Christmas shopping, and we’re hoping for a good turnout. We want our vendors to be anxious to come back next year.”

A line-up of 18 or more vendors is set to provide an assortment of goods, much of which will be hand-crafted. Items will include wreathes, monogrammed merchandise, wood crafts, handmade bibs and blankets and baked goods.

Concessions will be available throughout the day.

The event is being held by the PTO as a fundraiser for the school.

“We get the table fees,” Morris explained. “What is raised will go toward technology purchases for our students. We’re trying to do all we can to help with that.”

For more information on the day, the school can be reached at 336-351-2745.

“We’re inviting everyone to join us for this community event,” Morris said. “We have some beautiful handcrafted items and it’s a great time to do your holiday shopping for that unique gift.”
