Shoals first graders enjoy field-trip

First graders from Shoals Elementary School learned about being healthy and active recently. Students visited the staff at the North Carolina Agriculture Extension office.

During the students visit they enjoyed a healthy lunch at 13 Bones in Mount Airy. Students also toured the produce section at Food Lion, and enjoyed some time on the walking trail and playground at the Armfield Civic Center.
