Shoals Spelling Bee winners named

Shoals Elementary School was well represented by spellers at the District Spelling Bee recently, according to Marlene Jessup, public infomation officer for Shoals Elementary.

All three participants placed in their categories.

Nate Parrish received second place for grade 5, Braden Snow received first place for grade 4, and Taylore Hill placed third in the overall school competitors.

“Congratulations for a job well done, Nate, Braden, and Taylore,” said Jessup.
