DANBURY — Stokes County Arts Council presents “The Living Storybook Drama Classes” taught by Peter and Christina Holland, the directors of Once Upon a Blue Ridge.

Schedule includes 11 classes beginning Jan. 19, and continuing once weekly (Tuesday evenings) until completion of drama classes. Class location alternating between the Community Services Building (Danbury) and King Recreation Acres (King).

v Creative Dramatics, 5:25 to 6:25 p.m. for ages 5-9: Intro to theatre techniques and games. Emphasis on improvisation, storytelling, puppetry, and movement. Class culminates in recital for friends and family.

v Basics of Acting, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. ages 10-teens: Emphasis on acting techniques, voice and diction, character development and movement. Class culminates in recital for friends and family.

The cost is $75 per student (cash, check, money order, debit or credit cards accepted).

Recital tentatively scheduled for March. Date and site to be announced.
