The Siloam Extension Club met on Monday night for the regular monthly meeting. Carmen came from the Dobson office and presented a program on “Napkin folding.”

The young folks in our church who have had that dreadful flu were able to be back on Sunday. They have been sick plus running a fever. It was good to have them back and looking much better.

The seniors from the church went up to Shatley Springs on Tuesday for breakfast and a stop at the Hardware Store in Sparta. This is an annual event and one of our favorite trips.

Denise N. had a bit of probing done in some veins on Monday. She should be as good as new very soon. I guess mama Essie is doin’ the nursing.

We have a few folks in our community who think that blue team down in Chapel Hill hung the moon and then scattered the stars all about. Well, it looked that way on Saturday afternoon ... they won a game! Well, let’s take a look at the visiting team!!!!!

And the Panthers won, too!
