Last week, Jack, Jane and myself enjoyed another trip to Wyboo Plantation near Manning, S.C., and near Lake Marion, to visit friends Gil and Ruth. First stop on Sunday was at Hotel Blue at Myrtle Beach to visit Margaret Dolan, a 1943 Guilford College classmate. Margaret, from Grahamsville, N.Y., spends winter months at Myrtle Beach. This winter was different, on Jan. 6 Margaret fell and broke her hip. She spent the month of January in Waccamaw Hospital and Rehab. Fortunately, she was able to visit with me for two hours. She is able to walk with a walker and hopes to go to Tennessee with her daughter before going home.

Monday was spent outside enjoying the 75-degree weather and Tuesday found us shopping at outlets, (I got to use a wheel chair) and seeing the sights in Charleston.
