PILOT MOUNTAIN — It’s that time of year again for East Surry Little League (ESLL) sign-ups. Any child attending East Surry, Central or Elkin High School and all of their feeder schools are eligible to play in the East Surry Little League program.
The program for both baseball and softball includes T-ball, Minor coach pitch, Minors player pitch, Majors and older Divisions. ESLL will also provide a Challenge Division for mentally and/or physically challenged individuals.
Registration dates and times are Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Feb. 7 from 1 to 5 p.m. The sign-up location will be at the Armfield Civic Center on Old U.S. 52.
The cost is $85 per child ($65 for T-ball players ages 4 through 6), but not to exceed $170 if a family has three or more children in the program. Checks should be made out to East Surry Little League. A late registration fee of $15 will be charged for sign-ups after 5 p.m. on Feb. 7.
Complete and partial scholarships are available for any player unable to afford the registration fee. To apply for a scholarship, contact Lyle Bullington at 325-2807 for further information.
