MOUNT AIRY — The America Red Cross is offering free Adult CPR classes March 7 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Surry County Red Cross in Mount Airy and also at the Edward Armfield Civic and Recreation Center in Pilot Mountain. Certifications will be given, and there will be free drinks and snacks. To register for either class, call Jeanette at 786-4183.

There will also be an Infant and Child CPR course on March 10 from 6 to 9 p.m. and a First Aid course on March 12 from 6 to 9 p.m. to be held at Surry Red Cross only.

Cost for these classes will be $25 for one class and $30 if both classes are taken, plus a $4 book fee or a $15 book purchase fee. To take these classes, register at the time of registration for the free adult CPR class.
