Local students awarded degrees during Gardner-Webb’s spring graduation

BOILING SPRINGS — Gardner-Webb University recently held its 2010 fall commencement exercises where nearly 300 students graduated. Graduates from the local region included the following:

Matthew Childress of Elkin graduated with a MBA degree in Business Administration;

Timothy Hodges of Elkin graduated with a BS degree in Health Management;

Florence Martin of Mount Airy graduated with a BS degree in Social Sciences;

Darlene Cromer of Pilot Mountain graduated with a BS degree in Accounting;

Samuel Killion of Pilot Mountain graduated with a BS degree in Social Sciences;

Aasha Marshall of Pilot Mountain graduated with a BS degree in Business Administration;

Meria Venable of Siloam graduated with a BS degree in Business Administration.

Located in Boiling Springs, Gardner-Webb University is home to nearly 4,300 students from 39 states and 24 foreign countries.
