Happy Mothers Day!

The Superentendent of the U.S. Air Force Academy announced that Tyler Kapolka of the Class of 2016 is a candidate for the degree of Bachelor of Science in Astronautical Engineering. Graduating as an Academy Scholar and on the Dean’s List and a commission as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force Thursday, June 2 at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado. Tyler’s parents are Debbie and Jeff Kapolka. Tyler’s grandmother’s are Martha Moorefield and Helen Kapolka.

The Memoral day sService at the old Westfield, School is scheduled for May 29 at noon. That’s a good one to go to.

Westfield Ruritan Club is having a Ham and Egg Breakfast May 14, with country ham, homemade biscuits, apples, grits , gravy, eggs from 7 – 10 a.m. at the Westfield Ruritan Building, Across from Westfield Post Office. Come out and help suppport the community. The Ruritans say members are needed!

Westfiled Baptist Church VBS Is June 20 through 24 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Kids Camp will be at the church July 18 through 21 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Not Brothers Band will be performing Saturday, May 7 from 8 to 11 p.m. at the Green Heron Alehouse in Danbury. Tickets available. 1110 Flinchum Road, Danbury.
