WESTFIELD — Stoney Ridge Baptist Church will be hosting a Spring Revival beginning at 7 p.m. on Sunday, April 24. Revival services will continue that Monday through Wednesday at 6 p.m. Our guest evangelist will be Pastor Alan Cox and special music will be featured each evening. Join us for this fervent call for personal and national revival!

Johnny Dearmin and Jimmy Smith will be entertaining at the Living Room Coffeehouse in Pilot Mountain April 16 at 7:30 p.m. Go enjoy. It’s free.

The Rock House Ruritans are accepting new members. The Rock House Ruritan Club is an important part of the Westfield community and they would welcome you as a valuable member. Call Nancy Speaks 336-351-4110 or Hallie Hall 336-351-3490 for more information.

The Rock House Ruritan Club will continue the turkey shoots next October. The weather is getting too warm to shoot those turkeys!

Brown Mountain Produce Country Store will be opening soon under same management.

Calling all vendors to come and support the Francisco Presbyterian Women by “renting” a tent to sell your product. Each tent is $10. The event will be held on May 14th from 7 am to 11 am. What a great way to promote your business/product and support our Women’s ministry. Anyone interested in renting a tent should contact Kim Holland at 336-406-1559.

We will also be serving breakfast that morning too. The cost will be donation only. Please come out for some good food, fellowship and to check out what the vendors have to offer!

Pilot Mountain Outreach Center needs toiletry, canned chili and saltine crackers donated.

Sylvia Fagg would like to thank everyone that came to her son’s, Stephen’s benefit, and everyone that participated.

There is big machinery in Westfield! They are getting ready to demolish some old houses and start building the new store.

Bobby Beecher, a former Hokies basketball player, was inducted into Virginia Tech’s athletic hall of fame. Bobby Beecher took North Stokes High School to the state basketball tournaments several years.

Jaden Tuttle celebrated her 13th birthday last Saturday with friends and family at her home in Westfield. BBQ, Hot Dogs and a two tier birthday cake was serviced. Good time had by all!
