WESTFIELD — Easter Sunrise Service will be held at Albion Baptist Church March 27 at 7 a.m. Breakfast after the service. Sunday School will start at 9 a.m. and Worship Service will be at 10 a.m.

Westfield Baptist Church will host a Children’s Easter Egg Hunt March 26 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. On March 27 at 7 a.m. they will have Sunrise Service and breakfast.

Tru-Way Baptist Church will have Sunrise Service at 7am in the grave yard on Pell Road. After the service the members will serve Breakfast at the Tru-Way fellowship building on Pell RD.

Mark your calendars for March 12 at Old Westfield School Cafeteria and Gym from 4 – 8 p.m.

There will be a Fundraiser for Jeff and Robin Hooker. Jeff is having some serious health issues and needs our help. As many of you know, Jeff could really make a Mandolin talk; outstanding musician. There will be a hot dog and pinto bean supper along with 3 bands playing: The Not Brothers featuring Ronnie Edwards with special guest Lou Reid; the Country Boys; The Nunn Brothers. Join the fun cause there will be door prizes and a 50/50 raffle. Please make plans to come out and help Jeff. All donations greatly appreciated. The proceeds will help with medical bills.

Sympathy goes to the Larry Smith family. Mr. James Larry Smith, age 77, of Westfield, passed away February 28, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born January 1, 1939 in Forsyth County to the late Will & Lillian Cox Smith. Mr. Smith graduated from Nancy Reynolds High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He retired from McLean Trucking.
