Police reports


The following reports were filed by the Pilot Mountain Police Department:

• A North Carolina Uniform Citations was issued on Nov. 22 to James Henry Junior Nelson charging him with operating a motor vehicle while his driver’s license was revoked.

• A North Carolina Uniform Citation was issued on Nov. 22 to Terrance Demon Bacote charging him with driving while driver’s license was revoked.

• A North Carolina Uniform Citation was issued on Nov. 22 to Lorie Moore Payne charging her with failing to carry driver’s license while operating a motor vehicle.

• An incident/investigation report was filed on Nov. 24 by Advance Auto Parts, S. Key St., Pilot Mountain, alleging larceny by taking tools from the shelf and putting in pocket and leaving store with three ratchet wrenches having a total value of $35.97.

• A Department of Motor Vehicles report filed on Nov. 24 reports a collision between Ginger Barker Hodges, driving a vehicle owned by Jason Christopher Hodges, and a deer. Hodges’ vehicle sustained damage estimated at $2,500.

• A North Carolina Uniform Citation was issued on Nov. 24 to Jason Michael Spencer charging him with driving with an expired registration plate.

• A North Carolina Uniform Citation was issued on Nov. 24 to Jason Michael Spencer charging him with operating a motor vehicle without being licensed as a driver.

• A North Carolina Uniform Citation was issued on Nov. 24 to Emily Nichole King charging her with driving 52 miles per hour in a 35 miles per hour zone.

• A North Carolina Uniform Citation was issued on Nov. 25 to Robert Wayne Smith charging him with operating a motor vehicle while displaying an expired registration plate.

• A North Carolina Uniform Citation was issued on Nov. 25 to Jessica Marie Arrington charging her with driving at a speed of 49 miles per hour in a 35 miles per hour zone.

• An incident/investigation report was filed on Nov. 26 alleging simple assault on Dodson St., Pilot Mountain. An accompanying magistrate’s order names the defendant as Marcia Denton and the victim as Michael Denton.
