“We appreciate our sponsors making the prizes possible,” noted Pinnacle Lions Club representative Charles Watson. “We usually have enough to try to give something to everyone who takes part.”
According to Watson, the spring tournament is a spin-off of a popular fall tournament sponsored each year by the club.
“We’ve been doing a tournament in the fall for several years,” he explained. “We hold it at Beaver Creek and it’s always done well. We decided to do one in the spring as a way of honoring Bill Stone.”
