Surry County Schools menus for Nov. 18-24

Elementary/middle school

Breakfast: fruit available daily, 100 percent juice, skim and one percent milk offered daily. Lunch: Boxed salads, rainbow salads, yogurt and PBJ offered daily in addition to the menu.

WG – whole grain; LF – low fat; GLL – green leafy lettuce; RF – reduced fat; C or P – cheese or pepperoni

Breakfast:

Wednesday: Strawberry pop tart and cheese stick

Thursday: Chicken biscuit

Friday: Breakfast pizza

Monday: Yogurt with RS cereal pouch

Tuesday: Cheese, bacon, and omelet biscuit

Lunch:

Wednesday: Chicken tenders, WG roll, deli turkey and cheese sub, roasted red bliss potatoes, green beans, glazed sweet potatoes, orange wedges, strawberry apple sauce.

Thursday: Roasted turkey and gravy, dressing, WG roll, cheeseburger or hamburger, mashed potatoes, green beans, glazed sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, applesauce cup.

Friday: Breakfast for lunch. Omelet with sausage biscuit or gravy biscuit, chicken fillet on WG bun, lettuce, tomato, pickles, crispy potato rounds, baked apples, pears with kiwi.

Monday: Stuffed crust pizza, rib BQ on WG sub roll, pickles, broccoli with cheese sauce, seasoned potato wedges, Romaine garden salad, strawberry cup, orange wedges.

Tuesday: Homemade Stromboli with marinara, beef hot dog, chili, slaw, baked French fries, Parmesan California veggies, baked beans, pear slices, apple wedges.

High school

Breakfast: Assorted hot biscuits, 100 percent juice and low-fat milk offered daily. Lunch: boxed salads, yogurt, yogurt and PBJ offered daily.

Lunch:

Wednesday: Supreme pizza, lasagna with Italian bread stick, Carolina BBQ sandwich, crunchy cole slaw, baked beans, baked French fries, Greek salad, fresh veggies with LF dip, orange wedges, fruity jello.

Thursday: Roasted turkey and gravy, dressing, WG roll, cheeseburger or hamburger, mashed potatoes, green beans, glazed sweet potatoes, lettuce, tomato, pickles, cranberry sauce, applesauce cup.

Friday: Pepperoni pizza, scratch made Stromboli with marinara, chicken fillet sandwich, crispy potato tots, Caesar salad, baby carrots, LF dip, veggie pasta salad, kiwi, blueberry crisp.

Monday: Stuffed crust pizza, baked spaghetti with bread stick, hot dog, chili, slaw, Mrs. Dash California vegetables, Greek salad, peach cup, fresh fruit.

Tuesday: Classic Tony’s pizza, hot sub bar with fresh baked bread, baked crispy potato tots, baked potato, fresh veggies, ranch dip, fresh fruit.
