Happy, Happy 77th Wedding Anniversary to Lorene and Marion Vaden. Simply “Awesome,” and what a milestone that so very few accomplish!! Many, Many, Many Anniversary Blessings. Dec. 29 Lorene and Marion celebrated their wedding anniversary with family.

The Westfield Ruritan Club is sponsoring a Cash Bingo & Benefit for Kathy Jo Monday on Saturday, Jan. 13. Eat at 5:30 p.m. and Cash Bingo starts at 7 p.m. Also a Silent Auction and Bake Sale will be going on during the benefit. The benefit for Kathy Jo Monday will be held at the Westfield Community Building.

Crossroad Church will host a Chicken Stew and Vacation giveaway on Saturday, Jan. 20 from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Francisco Community Building. Cost is $5 and includes a meal and a chance for a week long trip to Gatlinburg.Tim Sands and None of the Above will perform. Proceeds go to the purchase of our church.

Special prayers for, Dorothy Simmons, Lanny Martin, Alvin Sams, Hallie Hall, Larry Vermeulen and Marie Jessup.

Sympathy goes to the Gordon family.

Mr. Jeffrey Todd Gordon, loving husband and son, age 55 of Pinnacle died Tuesday, Dec. 26, at his home. Mr. Gordon worked for Leinbach Machinery and later owned and operated Gordon Auction Company and Pinnacle Farm Equipment.

Sympathy goes to the Bennett family.

Teddy Dean Bennett, 61, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, Dec. 30, at his residence. Teddy was born September 27, 1956, in Stokes County, to the late Henry Edsel and Brona Hall Bennett.
