Sympathy goes to Linda and Harry Anderson and the Goad family. Clossie Pack Goad, 95, passed away, Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at her residence.

The Westfield Ruritan Club is sponsiring a country ham, sausage and egg breakfast, on Saturday, May 13 from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Westfield Community building at 6631 Westfiled Road (across from the Westfield Post Office ). The meal will include ham, sausage patties, gravy, eggs, apples, fresh fruit, homemade biscuits and drinks. Donations only! This is a benefit breakfast for Marie and Rayford Jessup to help with recent extraordinary medical expenses.

On April 29, Albion Missionary Baptist church will have a special Saturday night singing with The Millers.

There will be a song service at 6:30 p.m. on April 30 at Brown Mountain Baptist Church.

Families in Need Cruise-in and BBQ is set for Saturday, April 29 from 11 a.m. till 5 p.m. in Westfield.

Tracey, Hanna and Sara Coker visited Sammy and Janice Lawson during Easter. The dogs and a friend of Hanna’s came up from Georgia with them. A family Easter luncheon was held at Tommy and Crystal Lawson’s on Sunday.

Special prayers for Elizabeth (Lizzie) Joyce and Marie Jessup.

Also prayers for Ginger Martin and R. W. Goins.

Francisco Community Market Day is Saturday, April 29 at the Francisco Volunteer Fire Department. Breakfast is at 7:30 a.m. and events and vendors from 9 a.m. till 3 p.m. THere will be food, arts/crafts, safety demonstrations, fire trucks, helicopters, farmers market and music.
