Haley Yvette Griffin and Brandon Christopher Holmes were united in marriage on June 27 at Westfield Baptist Church in a 11 a.m. ceremony by the Rev. Joel Stephens.
The bride is the daughter of Rodney and Debbie Griffin of Pilot Mountain. She attended UNC Charlotte, graduating with a B.A. in elementary education.
The groom is the son of Donna Holmes and the late Chris Holmes of Pinnacle. He is a graduate of UNC Charlotte with degrees in political science and history.
The bride was escorted by Rodney and Debbie Griffin. She wore a Stella York Trumpet designer bridal gown featuring the timeless beauty of ivory floral lace, a Diamonte adorned waist sash, sweetheart neckline, and a traditional chapel train. Her bouquet contained sunflowers, hydrangeas, daisies and eucalyptus.
The matron of honor was Stacey Marion, cousin of the bride, of Rural Hall. She wore a yellow one-shoulder short dress with illusion neckline. Bridesmaids were Ashley Nichols of Greensboro; Kirby Hunter of Tobaccoville; Laura Kuczero of Charlotte; and Mychalah Palmer of Pilot Mountain. They wore yellow one-shoulder dresses with illusion necklines.
The flower girl was Colby Badgett of Pilot Mountain. The ring bearer was Anderson Badgett of Pilot Mountain, and the best man was Andrew Holmes of Pinnacle. The sign bearers were Pennson Badgett of Pilot Mountain and Carter Gordy of Rural Hall. Ushers were Ryan Dunmon, Perry Lawson and Tate Pinnix, all of Pinnacle; and Ben Marion of Rural Hall.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Westfield Baptist Church fellowship hall with the parents as hosts. Carla and Mady Hall were in charge of the guest register.
After a wedding trip to Disney World, the couple will reside in King.
